On Friday, we had a time trip in the Black Creek Pioneer Village. Our nice guide led us to visit 1800's people's life.
Black Creek Pioneer Villate is large and beautiful. There are many 1800's buildings. Some used to live by peoper, some were stores, some were used to breed animals... The builds are simple and practical. There are chickens, pigs, sheep, turkeys, horse.1800's people used to breed them. The famer animels were very inportent part of food source and useful tool for that time people.
It was a sunny day. I imagined life scene of 200 years ago. There were many people living in the Black Creek Pioneer Village. Some of the people just went out their home, some of the people walked on the street, Some looked young and some looked old. Some were fat and some were thin. Some looked very happy and some looked sed. Some strong men worked hard in the farm and one woman called her children to pick up vegetable in the garden. A bright businessman tried to sale their commodities to customer and a brougham passed the street to far away.
Black Creek pioneer Village is a home for 1800's people of first come to Toronto.

My Success Story
In the 1980s, the bicycle was a popular form of transportation in China. At that time, I was only a teenager. I envied people when I saw them riding around on their bicycles.
On my birthday, I received a present from my father. It was a fashionable bicycle. I was so excited about this gift as I would be able to ride on the bicycle like other people. I rode on it immediately, but it was not as simple as it looked. I fell down as soon as I got on my bicycle and hurt my foot. I almost gave up on the bicycle. Just then, a friend of mine advised me to learn how to get on the bicycle first. I took my friend's suggestion. I grasped the handlebars and stepped on one of the pedals with my left foot to move forward for a little distance. After I was proficient in this, I put my right foot on the other pedal. But I was not successful. I fell down again and again. On the following days, I returned to practicing getting on the bicycle. After numerous tries, I finally successed in putting both feet on the pedals. I was awfully excited about riding on the bicycle. But after a few minutes. I found that I was having trouble getting off my bicycle. At last, I fell down on the ground in front of a surprised crowd and got off the bicycle. In spite of all felling down many times, I continued to try. A few days later, I could ride on my bicycle and began to enjoy the feeling of riding on a bicycle.
This is one of my success stories. It is very funny and amusing. Now, I am studying English in the Microskills LINC School. I hope I can speak English very well after a few years. It may be another success story of mine.

A Trip to AGO
My son and I went to the Art Gallery of Ontario with Joseph and my classmates recently. The Art Gallery of Ontario is near Chinatown downtown. The acronym of Art Gallery of Ontario is AGO. The AGO has collected a lot of art works. Special for now, AGO is exhibiting the masterpieces of Picasso, so I was very excited on this trip.
It was a gorgeous day. We took the subway to Sheppard Yonge station to meet Joseph and my classmates. We left for AGO together at 9:15 a.m. We arrived the St. Patrick station. We turned left on University Ave. and up to Dundas St., after five minutes, we saw a large modern building on our left. Joseph is a nice teacher. He led us on a walk around the building to introduce to us this building. We took some wonderful pictures before finishing the short trip around the AGO building. We came into AGO from the main entrance where there is a hall in which we stood in the line to get the tickets. after that we went to level 2 to visit the Picasso exhibition. There, people were appreciating Picasso's works that were created by from 1900 to 1972. I also enjoyed looking at them. I had a great time. The time passed quickly. I had to go with my classmates for a look around other works. At noon, we had a short tour Chinatown trip. After lunch, my son and I went back into AGO to continue our fun travel. We saw an excellent ship model show in the lower level which my son liked very much. And then we viewed the contemporary arts on levels 4 and 5, When we saw the original works of arts, we were moved by them. In the end, we appreciated many pieces of Canadian and European Art.
When my son and I returned home from the AGO, it was six clock. The wonderful trip to AGO had helped me realize my dream of seeing of famous Picasso originals. In the other hand, it also helped me to understand Canadian culture. I hope to visit the AGO again.

DREAM COME TRUE
When I was young, I used to collect many pictures of Leonardo da Vinci, Picasso, Van Gogh, etc. If people ask me if the pictures were true, of couse, they are not true. All the pictures came from magazines, newpapers, and books. I tried to appreciate them. I dreamed to see the original of the famous artists. Today, the dream has come true. We went to AGO. I was so happy, because there are pictures of Picasso there. Picasso is one of the most famous artists in the world. Copies pictures was also collected by me although I could not understand his pictures.

My New Country
Toronto is the biggest city in Canada. I like this city. First, I can see many people from different countries. Second, I am excited to understand many things I have ever known. Third, I have met new teachers, new classmates, and new friends. Fourth, I try to use English to talk with other people.
I like here.
